My father is an “inventor”. He spends his days in his workshop fixing things around the house. Over the years the house has become a sum of fixes done with a lot of humor. The house is him; his person. As I do every summer, I move in with him in the house. I record him napping, feeding the cats, cleaning the pool. I like to record those moments of architecture. The long days when it seems to take hours for the light to travel through the house. Recording the heat. Recording the crickets. Recording the radio blaring. The summer. Life. This video was recorded at La Casa Ugalde, built in 1951 by José Antonio Coderch.
