Pachacámac, A Room for Archaeologists and Kids

The desing-build project “A Room for Archaeologists and Kid”s is a collaboration between Studio Tom Emerson at ETH Zurich, led by the architect Guillaume Othenin-Girard and Taller 5 at The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in Lima (PUCP), led by the architect Vincent Juillerat.

The film was made by Géraldine Recker, as a student taking part in Studio Emerson’s elective course: “Archeology of the Territory, Pachacámac “at ETH Zurich in 2018.

Géraldine Recker is a Swiss architect and photographer. She received her Masters in Architecture at ETH Zurich where she graduated with the thesis‚ ‘The Presence of Water Infrastructure’. After an exchange at Harvard GSD she started examining architecture on an interdisciplinary level with different media, focusing on social, psychological and poetic layers of space. She currently lives in London and works at the studio of photographer Hélène Binet.
