“PSYCHE Architecture traps us and turns us into its own slaves if we are unable to perceive the most important aspects—its limits and its connection to the external context, nature. As in “The Shining,” brought to the reality of contemporary architecture, a young redhead strolls, walks, speeds through a continuous, neutral space with infinite horizontal dimensions and tasteless matter. There is no way out. In her perseverance, spacetime stirs. Architecture has made her a slave to her own being, and the constant white light is the immaterial chain that envelops her. She discovers vertical courtyards that allow glimpses of the celestial dome and the movement of clouds and birds, an unattainable space. An impossible and endless cyclical path appears, it is the end of the world of reality, or is it the end of dreams? She awakens in a dream or perhaps, in another reality, in a haven of noble materials—stone, concrete, and ceramics. The body rises, loses weight, and frees itself, unlike the interior where the body felt heavy and trapped. The human body has become free, Architecture and Nature dance in a surreal mirror.
