The story of a transformed silo, narrated by its architect Harry Gugger, talks about the rebirth of a former grain storage into a mixed-use building in the city of Basel. Its past and new spatial configuration, function and materiality question our vision of industrial construction and reveal its potential to be inhabited in a contemporary context.
