In the exceptional context of lockdown, designer and filmmaker Alexandre Humbert, who explores film as a material for constructing cinematographic objects, has created an original work in close synergy with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Paris. His camera guides us through the empty museum, plunged in darkness, following the movement of three people: the assistant to the head of security, the head of the collections department and the director of the museum. In this way, three voices tell the story of the empty building, frozen in the dark, eager to encounter visitors again. Three voices that become a narrative tool to unveil both the works—the actors in the film—and the museum—a spatial setting awaiting the public. (1)
